My promise to you
Your privacy matters to me. Whatever you share, on this site, in your booking or in our conversation, stays confidential. I collect only what I need to arrange and prepare for your Compass Conversation. I never sell it or share it for marketing, and you can ask me to delete it at any time.
Who I am
This website is run by Devraj Ghosh, The Polaris Compass, Dubai, UAE. For any question about your privacy, write to me at devraj@thepolariscompass.com.
What I collect
When you book a Compass Conversation through Calendly:
- your name and email address, so I can confirm your booking and send you the Microsoft Teams invite
- your answers to three short questions: which best describes you, your company and role, and the challenge you’d like to share
- the date, time and time zone you choose
When you visit the site: basic usage data through cookies (see Cookies below). When you email me: your email address and whatever you choose to write. I never ask for payment details. The Compass Conversation is complimentary.
How I use it
Only to:
- confirm, remind you of and, if needed, reschedule your Compass Conversation
- prepare for our conversation, so you leave with one Insight to Action
- follow up with you personally about our conversation
- understand, in aggregate, how the site is used, so I can improve it
I will not add you to a mailing list or send you marketing without your clear permission.
Complete confidentiality
What you share in your booking answers and in our conversation is treated as strictly confidential. As an ICF Professional Certified Coach (PCC), I follow the ICF Code of Ethics, which includes confidentiality. I do not record Compass Conversations, and I never share what you tell me with your company, family members, colleagues or anyone else, unless you ask me to or the law requires it.
Who else sees your information
Only the trusted services that make the booking work: Calendly (scheduling), Microsoft (Teams meetings), my website host and Google (site analytics). They process data on my behalf under their own privacy and security terms, and some may store it outside the UAE. I do not sell, rent or trade your personal information. Ever.
How long I keep it
Only as long as it is useful to you. If we don’t go on to work together, I delete your booking details within 12 months of our conversation. You can ask me to delete them sooner at any time.
Cookies
The site uses a small number of cookies: essential ones that make it work, and analytics cookies that show me, in aggregate, which pages are useful. The Calendly booking calendar may set its own cookies. You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings at any time.
Your choices
You can ask me at any time to see, correct or delete the information I hold about you, or to stop any follow-up. Just email devraj@thepolariscompass.com and I will respond within 30 days. I handle personal data in line with applicable data protection laws, including those of the UAE.
Changes to this policy
If I update this policy, I will post the new version on this page with a new date.
